Alfa Romeo

Innovative and powerful engines, capable of stirring the emotions and offering the utmost driving pleasure.
The Alfa Brera comes with a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel, all Euro 4 compliant.

With 260 bhp, the new 3.2 JTS V6 is the most powerful engine in the entire Alfa Romeo range. And for the first time on this type of engine, it adopts the exclusive Twin Phaser system for varying the opening angle of the valves. The 3.2 JTS V6 is also available with the 6-speed Q-Tronic automatic gearbox, for the very best sporting performance.

Engines

Equally advanced, the 2.2 JTS has four cylinders, twin overhead camshaft, and 16 valves with phase variator. It can deliver 185 bhp and is particularly light, made possible by the use of an aluminium alloy engine block and cylinder head. Two counter-rotating balancing shafts reduce vibrations, and ensure the same performance you would expert from a 6-cylinder engine.
