"F1 Unleash", the event dedicated to motor enthusiasts as a warm-up for
the Italian Grand Prix, took place from 29th August to 1st September at the Darsena, in the Navigli district of Milan.
The Grand Prix on the Monza circuit near Milan, is one of the Formula 1 World Championship classics and is inextricably linked to the history of Alfa Romeo, thanks to the glorious victories of Nino Farina and Luigi Fagioli in the Fifties. The “F1 Unleash” was kicked off by the genuine racing emotions of an excited crowd. The public was invited to the Fan Village to get a close-up view of the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s show car, competing in the Formula 1 World Championship with Marcus Ericsson and Charles Leclerc. The car then surprised the public by running laps on a 1.6 km long track along Viale D'Annunzio.
The spectacular parade ended in Piazza XXIV Maggio. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio hot-lapped on the same course. Furthermore, the Alfa Romeo stand hosted a model of the exclusive Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio "NRING", an outstanding limited-edition model created to celebrate the records set by the brand on the famous Nürgburgring circuit in Germany.
