On the third day of the 2019 edition of the 1000 Miglia, the convoy started heading back north. Their journey led them through the stunning landscapes of Lake Vico, Viterbo, Radicofani, Castiglione d’Orcia, Siena, Vinci, Montecatini, Pistoia and Firenze. They also crossed the historic Futa and Raticosa passes, the same roads where Alfa Romeo wrote its most important chapter of racing history. The third leg ended in Emilia Romagna, aka the Motor Valley, when the group arrived in Bologna.
