Level 2 Assisted Driving

The new Alfa Romeo Junior can achieve Level 2 Assisted Driving thanks to the optional Technology pack which includes a front camera, front radar, Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC), and Lane Centring (LC). These systems work together to help the driver maintain the correct position on the road with minimal intervention. They assist in maintaining the right speed and staying in the centre of the lane, reducing the risk of collisions, especially in congested traffic situations where accidents are more likely. However, it's important to note that the driver remains in control at all times.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control offers seamless speed control and distance adaptation, allowing drivers to relax without constant pedal pressure. The system, equipped with Stop & Go, ensures consistent cruising speed and safe spacing from preceding vehicles. Additionally, upon driver request, it can intelligently adjusts speed based on recognized road limits. With the Stop & Go functionality, the vehicle can decelerate to a complete stop as needed, automatically restarting if the stop is brief. For longer stops, drivers can manually resume control and easily restore settings using the steering wheel button.​

Lane Centering

The Lane Centering system in your new Alfa Romeo Junior ensures the vehicle stays centered within its lane, even in busy traffic. It detects lane markings and actively maintains the vehicle's position in the middle of the lane. The driver must keep their hands on the steering wheel, as the system provides visual and acoustic warnings before intervening to stop the vehicle if necessary.

Parking Assistance

The 180° View Camera provides a comprehensive view of the car's surroundings via the 10.25" digital touchscreen, complete with a dynamic grid. This camera is supported by 12 sensors positioned in the rear fascia, sides, and front fascia. During maneuvers, the built-in software generates a top-down view and alerts the driver visually through the instrument cluster and audibly with a chime if an obstacle is detected in the car's trajectory.

Autonomus Emergency Brake

The Autonomous Emergency Braking system helps prevent or reduce the severity of collisions by automatically applying the brakes if the driver doesn't react in time to avoid hitting the vehicle ahead or a pedestrian/cyclist.

Blind Sport Monitoring

The Blind Spot Monitoring system checks the rear blind spots on both sides of the vehicle for any vehicles present. It alerts the driver with a LED spot in the rearview mirror and a chime if there's a risk of collision. The driver can activate or deactivate the system using the function mode in the infotainment display.

Traffic Sign Recognition

Capable of reading road signs, the Traffic Sign Recognition is designed to detect speed limits and help you adjust your vehicle's speed based on possible restrictions

Driver Attention Assist

The Driver Attention Assist can detect signs of fatigue by monitoring the vehicle's lateral movements, prompting the driver to take a break when necessary. This is communicated through visual and acoustic warnings. Additionally, the system tracks journey duration and vehicle behavior, issuing alerts via visual signals and a cup symbol on the digital cluster to further aid driver awareness.
