Some things cannot be explained. They can only be felt. Pure emotions. Pure heartbeats. October 2026. After thirty years, Alfa Romeo returns with a new concept car, with a vision waiting just above the horizon for the right moment – and that vision has a name: Cuorerosso.

The future

A new design vision

Born from passion, shaped with courage, Rosso to the core. Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso reveals the design language of our future: a blend of beauty, functionality, technology and quality that we call Bellezza Necessaria. Every line has a reason. Every surface has a purpose. From 2028, it will shape every new Alfa Romeo: it’s the first chapter of a new era, where Italia, Rosso and Sportività come together and find a new voice, to tell the world once more what performance and design can feel like.

Exterior

Carved from passion
Attitude is all. Sporty proportions meet elegant lines and surfaces in a body conceived as a true sculpture: monolithic, uninterrupted, as if carved from a single piece of solid material. The eye runs freely over every surface, joining them into one object that seems to move even when standing still.

Scudetto
At the centre of its face, the sculpted Scudetto: the shield that makes an Alfa Romeo recognisable at first glance, now rising from one continuous surface.

See-through mirrors
Sliced for the wind. The see-through rear-view mirrors open up to let the air flow through them, keeping the silhouette light and every line pure.

Counter-opening doors
The counter-opening doors swing apart like a gesture of welcome, and the sculpture opens up. For a moment the car is no longer a shape to look at: it is an invitation, red glowing from within.

3×3 light signatureA deep, intense gaze. The 3×3 light signature gives Cuorerosso a look you recognise in the dark and never forget in daylight. The active air intakes are built into the front lamps, so the car breathes through its eyes without breaking a single line.

Coda Tronca
The profile culminates in a distinctive Coda Tronca, the truncated tail that carries Alfa Romeo's racing soul. At its edges, two signature lamps glow for those who follow.

Titanium wheels
Perforated titanium wheels, each made from a single piece of metal: strength and lightness, turned into jewellery for the road.

Interior

Step inside the heart
Open the doors and discover a red, sinuous world, as if you were stepping into the heart of Alfa Romeo. Sporty and fully immersive, everything here is shaped around one feeling: the pure pleasure of driving.

Magma Display
Magma. A console where physical and digital stop being two separate worlds. At rest it is a clean surface: no screens, no clutter, nothing between you and the road. The moment you need a command, it surfaces exactly where your hand expects it — intuitive, within reach, simple, precise. Then it goes back under, and the drive takes the scene again.

Cannocchiale
The Cannocchiale is the protagonist of the cabin, and it moves. Animated by advanced kinematics, it reshapes itself around the way you want to drive. In Cruising, it opens into two screens and the journey becomes something you share. In Focused, everything folds back into a single Cannocchiale: one instrument, one road, one driver. Two modes, two souls, one heart.

Dashboard
The dashboard conveys lightness, stability and technical control, while its width flows on into the door panels and opens up the space around you. Everything turns towards the driver. The layout keeps your eyes on the road and your mind on the only thing that matters: the drive.

Con-tatto steering wheelThe steering wheel has always been the privileged point of contact between an Alfa Romeo and its driver. Con-tatto enhances that bond and sharpens it: the precision of steer-by-wire in a shape that falls naturally into your hands, a modern interpretation of the classic three-spoke Alfa Romeo wheel. Ergonomics you feel in your palms, precision you feel in every corner.

Seats
The ergonomic seats and the central console wrap around you like a pair of hands in tight driving gloves: firm, precise and comfortable at every turn.

Pelle Cangiante
Pelle Cangiante: upholstery that shifts from leather to an advanced synthetic material, where craftsmanship and innovation meet in a single skin.

Technology

One step ahead

Sculpted, animated, alive: every solution on board is pure avant-garde, designed with the same care as a surface or a line. It doesn't promise the future. It shows it to you, here and now.

Pure aerodynamics

It all starts with the shape. No interruptions, hidden active air intakes and sliced mirrors let the air flow over Cuorerosso as if it were part of it. Drag coefficient: 0.28.

Cannocchiale Vivente

The living centrepiece of the cockpit. Animated by advanced kinematics, the Cannocchiale moves and transforms to switch between two distinct driving modes.

Magma Display

Physical and digital, fused like molten rock. The phygital Magma console keeps screens and controls out of sight until you really need them, then brings them within reach.

Con-tatto Volante

Contact and touch, in a single word. Con-tatto is Alfa Romeo's sensitive interpretation of steer-by-wire, in a modern take on the classic three-spoke steering wheel.

Performance

A heart that beats faster

Beneath the sculpture, a V6 biturbo engine of around 565 hp joins forces with lithium-ion batteries delivering around 350 kW. Air suspension and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, with calipers dedicated to Alfa Romeo, turn all that energy into pure control. This is sportiness for the age of electrification, where the love for cars does not fade. It grows stronger.
